We've been at the sheep again. This time its to stop the 'fly strike'. A horrible affliction when the flies lay eggs in the sheep wool and when the maggots hatch, they irritate the skin so much the sheep practically scratches itself to death. In the old days, they would have been dipped. Now its just a quick spray down the spine and under the tail with a pink liquid that makes them look as if they've had a pink mohikan. For lunch, a pork and white pepper sausage sandwich with lashings of Maille Dijonnaise.
