We were at a wedding on Saturday last. It was ok. Just ok. The Bride was lovely, the Groom was pissed and the Best Man made an awful gaff with his speech. I don't know about you, but would one normally bring up the groom's ex-wife in a speech for a newly married couple? I thought not. That apart, the nibbles were lovely and the sparkling wine for the speeches was sublime. Our daughter started getting sleepy upset at about eight so thats when we made our excuses. When we had left the venue, of course she was fine and sat in her car seat as if to say "yes, I made you leave, but you're my bitches now".
